Killarney Movers provides professional moving services, including but not limited to local moving, long-distance moving, commercial moving, residential moving, and moving and storage services. Our team of trained professionals will handle the packing, loading, transportation, and unloading of your belongings.
3. Booking and Reservations
To secure our services, a booking must be made through our website or by contacting us directly. A reservation is considered confirmed when we provide a written or email confirmation. Any changes to your booking must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled moving date to avoid additional fees.
4. Payment Terms
- Pricing: Our pricing is based on the services provided, the size of the move, distance, and any additional services requested (such as packing or storage). A detailed estimate will be provided before the move.
- Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure the booking, depending on the nature of the move. Deposits are non-refundable, except in cases where we cancel the service.
- Final Payment: The final payment is due upon completion of the services rendered. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods.
- Late Payments: Any late payments will incur additional charges and interest as per our payment terms.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
- Refunds: Refunds are issued for overcharges, payment errors, or cancellations as per the refund policy. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Packing: While we offer packing services, you are responsible for ensuring that your items are properly packed if you choose to do it yourself. We recommend using our professional packing service to avoid damages.
- Access to Property: You are responsible for providing us with accurate details about access to your home or business, including parking, stairs, elevators, and other obstacles that may affect the move. You must ensure that we have permission to access your property and that it is free from hazards.
- Valuables: Killarney Movers is not responsible for the damage to valuable or high-risk items such as jewelry, cash, or documents unless you specifically request additional insurance for these items.
7. Insurance and Liability
- Insurance: Killarney Movers provides basic insurance coverage for your items during transport. The coverage is limited and may not cover the full value of your belongings. We recommend purchasing additional insurance if you require more comprehensive protection.
- Liability: Our liability is limited to the actual cash value of the items being moved, not exceeding the total amount paid for the service. We are not liable for damages due to inherent flaws, improper packing, or customer negligence.
8. Damages and Claims
- Damaged Items: If any of your items are damaged during the move, you must notify us immediately. Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the move. We will assess the damage and determine compensation based on the insurance coverage provided.
- Exclusions: Killarney Movers is not responsible for damage to items that were not packed or handled by our team, or damage caused by improper packaging, faulty items, or wear and tear.
9. Prohibited Items
Certain items are prohibited from being moved for safety and legal reasons. These include:
- Hazardous materials, such as chemicals, explosives, or flammable substances
- Perishable food
- Pets (unless specifically agreed upon in advance)
- Valuable items like money, jewelry, and important documents (unless otherwise arranged)
- Illegal items or anything that may pose a risk to health and safety
You are responsible for ensuring that prohibited items are not packed or transported.
10. Delivery and Timelines
- Timeliness: We strive to meet agreed-upon delivery times, but Killarney Movers is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic, weather conditions, or equipment failure.
- Delivery: Our team will deliver your items to the specified address. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and that appropriate arrangements are made for unloading.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal details collected during booking and service provision are used solely for the purpose of providing our moving services and are not shared with third parties without your consent. 12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Killarney Movers reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
